How migrate animals find their way back?
3
0
Whales, storks, arctic terns, salmon, monarch butterflies... every year, make the same route for their migration. When these species are young, they record visual elements on the migratory path to remember the path taken by their parents. In addition to these visual elements, many migratory species are tested for magnetoception. Like a compass, these species have the ability to sense the earth's magnetic field and can orient themselves thanks to it. Photo credit: Cameron Venti
