How does the jellyfish breathe?
Jellyfish have neither heart, blood vessel, nor lung. How do they manage to breathe? They absorb oxygen from the water directly through their skin. Jellyfish have a gastro-vascular cavity that allows them to digest food and at the same time carry oxygen and thus reject CO2. Photo credit: Jeffrey Hamilton
