How do you tell a camel from a dromedary?

The camel and the dromedary are two mammals that inhabit the desert. However, they do not live on the same continent. While the dromedary lives in the deserts of North Africa, especially that of the Sahara, the camel lives in the deserts of Asia, between China and Mongolia. Another element which distinguishes them, the camel has two humps on the back, the dromedary has only one. These bumps, made up of fat, are energy stores and allow them to survive extreme temperatures.
