This lemur secretes a perfume to seduce its beautiful
There are the letters, but there are also smells. To seduce a female, the makki catta, a species of Malagasy lemur, secretes a particular odor. Males of this species have glands at the wrists that secrete a fruity scent. During the reproduction period, they rub their striped tail on these glands and agitates the latter under the muzzle of the courted female. Photo credit: Axel Blanchard
