Cachalots hunt in groups
It is a major scientific discovery. Hervé Glotin, French bioacoustician and other scientists participated in the Sphyrna Odyssey mission which aimed to analyze the acoustic behavior of cetaceans. They discovered that sperm whales hunt together and in groups. They communicate with each other on the hunting strategy to adopt and take the opportunity to train the youngest in their cogs.
