The pitcher plant (Sarracenia purpurea) is a beautiful carnivorous plant. This species of plant lives in the humid forests of North America. Its environment is poor in nutrients. To feed, the plant has a passive trap (without movement): it is compatible with a large tube, whose sugary walls attract insects directly inside. Once the insect "wins", the plant slowly digests it.
