Armor animal
It looks like a prehistoric animal. Along with the pangolin, the armadillo (South America) is the only mammal with a shell. This carapace of bony plates acts as a shield when the armadillo rolls into a ball in the face of danger. Only two species are capable of rolling into a ball: the southern three-banded armadillo and the Brazilian three-banded armadillo. Powerful digging claws are also a formidable weapon against predators.
