0
Fascinated by the marine world, Anita Conti was the first French oceanographer. Born at the beginning of the 20th century, she developed a passion for the oceans at a very young age. In 1935, she embarked aboard President Théodore Tissier, the first French oceanographic vessel. A pioneer in climate issues, she has written several books on this subject. It warns about the overexploitation of the oceans and in particular the risks linked to overfishing. Anita Conti dies in 1997.
