A rare cloud
5
0
A scroll-shaped cloud measuring up to 1,000 kilometers long and 2 kilometers high. This is the Morning Glory Cloud, a rare meteorological phenomenon that forms between September and October in the Gulf of Carpentaria, northern Australia. Conditions of atmospheric pressure, air circulation, and humidity are necessary for the formation of the Morning Glory Cloud. Although this phenomenon has been observed elsewhere in the world, it reaches impressive dimensions here and attracts the attention of meteorologists and natural phenomena specialists.
