A high-coloured spider!

0
It is one of the most beautiful spiders in the planet. The peacock spider (Maratus volans) is an endemic species of southeast Australia. It measures only four millimeters but knows how to get noticed! The peacock spider is adorned with splendid colors: blue, red, yellow and bright green color its abdomen. The male uses this colorful abdomen to seduce his partner. During the courtship, the arachnid performs a frenzied dance: it raises its legs, twirls them from left to right, jumps in all directions, lifts its colorful abdomen... so many movements used to make its sweetheart succumb.
