40 million years ago, frogs lived on the island of Seymour in Antarctica because the climate was milder. This discovery was made by Argentinian and Swedish scientists. Fossils of skulls and frog bones have been recovered, analyzed, and dated. It is the first time that fossils from this period and this species have been found in Antarctica!
