24 hours of the life of... an ostrich!
It is the largest bird in the world. On a typical day, the ostrich spends most of its time foraging and moving around. Omnivorous, it feeds mainly on worms and young shoots. Also active at night, the ostrich, a gregarious animal, moves in groups to escape predators. Its main predators are leopards, spotted hyenas, wild dogs, lions, and cheetahs.
