24 hours of the life of... a warthog!
The warthog is nicknamed the boar of the African savannah. He is a mammal that feeds mainly on grasses, fruits, and bark. Throughout the day, he moves around looking for food. In the evening, he nests in a burrow and snuggles up against other warthogs to warm up. If he feels threatened, the warthog has the particularity of running with the tail erect to warn his congeners of danger. Photo credit: Simon Hurry
