Genoese tower of La Castagna
0
0
South of the Gulf of Ajaccio, the tip of La Castagna, Punta di a Castagna in Corsica, has an eponymous Genoese tower. Like the two others Genoese towers along the coastline of Coti-Chiavari, the tower of Capu-di-Muru and the tower of Capu-Neru, the tower of La Castagna was built between 1580 and 1617. They are part of the coastal defense Genoese system.
