Pont-Audemer preserved its typical Norman houses, medieval half-timbered houses that plunge us into another era. Further on, an unfinished church and a tangle of canals, as wide as alleys, that the tanners used to wash their skins. The city has retained its liveliness and the talent of the saddlers still flourishes in the windows.
