During spring and summer, Inuit people hunt the caribou and muskox in the tundra of the Canadian Arctic Archipelago. At the end of summer and during fall, skins are prepared to make clothing to endure the brutal arctic cold. The sedentary lifestyle has profoundly changed the Inuit way of life but solidarity and required respect to animals sharing the territory are still very strong in the culture.
