The black cliffs of metamorphic rocks, the sumptuous waterfalls which swell and multiply after each rainfall and the tropical vegetation punctuated by white-trunked niaoulis and different species of kaoris are emblematic of the Hienghène region, on the east coast of Grande-Terre. This region, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is one of the most enchanting on the island !
