The agricultural land dedicated to viticulture occupies a significant part of the territory of the municipality of Gassin. The village is also historically associated with the development of regional viticulture for having hosted in its town hall, in 1933, the statutes of the Trade Union Association of the Var winegrowers. It was created for the defense and promotion of the Côtes-de-Provence designation and initiated the request for the AOC registration of the peninsula of Saint-Tropez. Gassin is currently home to nine wine estates, including the two Crus classés of Château Minuty and the Domaine de Bertaud.
