Snowmobile, or skidoo, is a small motorized vehicle. It is used in non-urbanized and snow-covered areas such as the Arctic tundra of Victoria Island. It does not require roads or trails to move. Traditional dog teams are still in used but snowmobile has increased the mobility of Arctic residents.
